Invitation to Tender: Evaluating Unlimited International Tweet
posted on: 31 May 2017, posted by: James Zatka-Haas
April 2016 saw the start of Unlimited International, a project extending our ongoing Unlimited activity to achieve international reach, funded by Arts Council England, Arts Council Wales, and British Council. The focus of this 3-year project is to allow Unlimited’s impact to ripple beyond the UK borders, engaging in a wider cross-cultural dialogue about disability and disabled-led artistic work.
As a major commissioning programme bringing together a range of funders, Unlimited knows how important it is to constantly evaluate what we are doing. Evaluation helps us identify what’s working well and what’s not reaching our expectations. As Senior Producer Jo Verrent mentions at every challenge we face: ‘so, how can we learn from that?’.
We’re looking for an external partner to take an overview of the work Unlimited International is doing, track how well we’re reaching our aims, suggest what will be effective, and add independent insight into where we can improve. The project includes collaborative commissions, an international producer placement, dissemination of case studies, and resources designed to aid dialogue about the inclusion of disabled artists in the cultural sector globally. This is a unique opportunity to engage with partners, artists, producers, promoters, audiences in the UK and abroad who are part of the programme.
The tender is open to ideas and proposals of how this evaluation might happen over the next couple of years. We’re leaving it to the experts to share with us how they would go about evaluating this unique project, and help us deliver the groundwork for more disabled artists to reach audiences around the world.
Interested? Read the full invitation to tender here, and submit your proposal before 10am GMT on 7 July 2017. Questions? Get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org, or call her at the Artsadmin offices on +44 (0)20 7247 5102.
