‘Your Slogan Here’ Design Competition

Create a design or slogan for a T-shirt and you could see your work exhibited at Southbank Centre’s Unlimited Festival at in September!

The winning t-shirt gets a whopping £300 Prize!

‘Your Slogan Here’ is a competition offering young disabled people under 26 living in England and Scotland the opportunity to design a slogan and/or image for a T-shirt that will be exhibited at Southbank Centre during Unlimited festival!
We are looking for young disabled people to submit something that addresses the everyday social, political and personal issues that matter to them. Our Unlimited selection panel will select their 10 favourite designs which will be made into a limited edition run of T-shirts and prints for exhibition at Southbank Centre, the Shape Gallery, Westfield, Stratford and further afield.

This competition is run as part of ‘Unlimited Impact’ and funded by the Spirit of 2012 Trust. Unlimited was at the core of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad and represented the largest-ever commissioning of work from disabled artists. This year we have launched the second round of Unlimited, and this competition is a great way to reinforce our message that disabled people are just as creative as anyone else. Unlimited Festival, exhibiting high-quality work by disabled artists, will take place in early September at Southbank Centre.

Attendees of the festival will be able to vote for their favourite design from the ten, and the overall winner will be announced on September 5th at the festival itself.
Please help us spread the word – this is a great opportunity for young disabled people to get involved, speak out and be heard!
Please contact jack@shapearts.org.uk for an application form and information on how to submit entries.

The deadline for entries is: Friday 8th August 5pm.
