Unlimited Impact Films: Summerhall

Unlimited Impact supports emerging disabled artists to create new work and inspires the next generation of disabled people passionate about making change. The programme also extends the main Unlimited programme’s reach by supporting venues across the country to programme disabled artists, and deepen the discussion and debate around their work.

This series of short films takes a look at the programme’s progress and introduces some of the artists and arts organisations with whom we have worked.

The second of our films looks at Summerhall, the creative hub and Fringe venue in Edinburgh, and how they worked with Unlimited Impact to improve the accessibility of both their venue and their programming. It also looks at Unlimited’s first exhibition at Summerhall and how it complemented the other works in their 2015 programme themed around ‘Myths and Allegories’. The exhibition was an ambitious selection of mixed media installations by the UK’s leading disabled artists, which ran from August to October 2015.
